JOHN BROWN’S BODY – pioneer of the U.S. reggae scene – returned with their first full-length studio album since 2008’s Billboard #1 reggae album release AMPLIFY. KINGS AND QUEENS features the trademark JBB elements: driving drum and bass, soaring horn lines, mind altering dub effects and production, and the unique vocals of the band’s lead singer and songwriter Elliot Martin. Fan favorites like “Shine Bright,” “Empty Hands,” and “Plantation” make their album debuts alongside brand new songs that stretch the boundaries of the genre (“Fall On Deep,” “Starver”) and touch on the band’s own history and place within reggae (“Step Inside,” “Old John Brown”).
