Xasthur i Leviathan to dwie znane nazwy dla każdego fana black metalu. Wpólnie wydali ten krążek wyłącznie na płycie LP za pośrednictwem kanadyjskiej wytwórni Profound Lore Records w 2004 roku.

Po tym, jak płyta LP niemal natychmiast zniknęłaz rynku, płyta stała się przedmiotem kolekcjonerskim. Wreszcie, po roku dostępności wyłącznie w tym limitowanym formacie LP, akładem Battle Kommand Records w USA ukazała sie wersja na CD.

Płyta CD zawiera dodatkowe utwory każdego artysty, które nie były dostępne na oryginalnym formacie LP.

Xasthur and Leviathan, two now-household names for any black metal fan, have collaborated and released this split record as an LP only released via Canada's Profound Lore Records in 2004. Afer the LPs vanished almost immediatley the record became a collectors item. Finally after a year of being available only on this LP format, there is a CD version available via Battle Kommand Records, USA. The CD features bonus tracks from each artist that were not available on the original LP format. Malefic (Xasthur) and Wrest (Leviathan) have both recently contributed to other projects including Twilight, Nachtmystium and Lurker Of Chalice. Both Bands are currently heralded as leaders of a new wave of Black Metal and as such, black metal is finding itself a whole new fan base in the wake of these two artists continual works.
