"W 2009 roku, kiedy podjąłem decyzję o ponownym wznowieniu działalności Swans. Nie miałem pojęcia dokąd to doprowadzi. Wiedziałem, że jeśli zdecyduję isę na grzbanie w przeszłości będzie to bezowocne i drażniące.

Po długim zastanowieniu się nad tym wybrałam pięć osób, z którymi pracowałem i wierzyłam, że zapewnią poczucie zaskoczenia i niepewności, a jednocześnie ucieleśniają siłę która pozwoli aby płynąć rzeką która płynie z serca dźwięku. I jaka jest intencja? Miłość! I tak w końcu ta Miłość doprowadziła nas do nagrania The Glowing Man.
