Moa Anbessa

Getatchew Mekuria jest najbardziej szanowanym weteranem etiopskiego saksofonu. Jest prawdziwym gigantem, zarówno fizycznie, jak i muzycznie. W latach siedemdziesiątych zachwycał pełnym głosem, z własnym, silnie wyróżniającym się stylem grania.

The Ex zaprosił go do wspólnej zabawy z ICP na 25-lecie Party Anniversary i Convoy Tour. Getatchew był tak zainspirowany, że zasugerował The Ex, że powinien nagrać z nimi swoją kolejną płytę. Dał im 10 solowych wersji etiopskich saksofonów. Początek bardzo owocnej współpracy.
