"The Best Of 1992-2003" to kompilacja nagrań Oldfielda z czasów, gdy artysta nagrywał dla wytwórni Warner. Czasów, które naznaczone były kapitalnymi utworami, ciekawymi eksperymentami oraz kontynuacjami niezapomnianego, nagrodzonego Grammy albumu "Tubular Bells". Na składance znajdziemy utwory z takich płyt jak: "Tubular Bells II" (1992), "The Songs Of Distant Earth" (1994), "Voyager" (1996), "Tubular Bells III" (1998), "Guitars" (1999), "The Millennium Bell" (1999), "Tr3s Lunas" (2002) i "Tubular Bells 2003" (2003).
Poza kompozycjami znanymi z płyt, kompilacja zawiera również szereg rarytasów, w tym remiksów i stron B singli. One wypełniają płytę numer dwa. Warto zwrócić uwagę na remiksy "To Be Free" autorstwa Soultronik, "Let There Be Light" w wykonaniu BT.
