Milestones

Nagrany w 1958 roku album Milestones jest znaczący ze względu na pierwsze próby Milesa Davisa z jazzem modalnym. Zwieńczeniem tych eksperymentów była wydana rok później płyta Kind of Blue. Nie bez znaczenia jest równiez fakt, że w nagraniu Milestones wzięli udział m.in. John Coltrane i Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, muzycy, którzy uczestniczyli w nagraniu Kind of Blue – jednej z najważniejszych płyt w historii jazzu.
