Fertile Hump to nowy zespół złożony z członków The Stubs i Test Prints. Ich debiutancka EPka ukazała sie 30 listopada 2015 r.

Wszystko zaczęło się w kuchni, w której Tomek i Magda zaczęli śpiewać piosenki.

– Żyjemy razem i Fertile humo narodził się w taką własnie noc. Kiedy Instant Classic postanowiło wydać nasze piosenki, zrozumiałem, że perkusja nie zagra sama, więc poprosiliśmy Maćka o dołączenie do nas. To świetny facet – wyjaśnia Tomek.

EP składa się z czterech piosenek, w jakiś sposób surowych (jak w garażu) i jakoś bluesowych (jak w oldschoolowym bluesie).

– Tekst w pewnym sensie odzwierciedla nasze życie i różne historie, które nam się przytrafiają. To nie jest spowiedź. Więcej komentarza – mówi wokalistka zespołu, Magda.

Obiecujące jest to, że Fertile Hump nie powinien być traktowany jako poboczny projekt. – Naprawdę chcemy grać na żywo. W tym momencie piszemy także nowe piosenki, zaplanowaliśmy kilka koncertów i wiem na pewno, że już wkrótce o nas nie zapomnisz – dodaje Maciek.

Fertile Hump is a new band from members of The Stubs and Test Prints. Their debut EP will be released on November 30th via Instant Classic and Long Walk Records.

It all started in a kitchen where Tomek and Magda began singing songs. – We live together and Fertile Hump started on one such night. When Instant Classic and Long Walk Records decided to release our songs, it dawned on us that the drums won’t play itself so we asked Maciek to join us. He’s a great guy – explains Tomek.

The EP consists of four songs, somehow raw (as in garage rock) and

somehow bluesy (as in oldschool blues). – The lyrics in a way reflect our lives and different stories that happen to us. It’s not a confession. More of a commentary – says band’s vocalist, Magda.

What’s promising is that Fertile Hump shouldn’t be treated as a side project. – We really want to play live. At this point we’re also writing new songs, there are a couple of gigs scheduled and I know for sure that you won’t forget about us soon – adds Maciek (drums).
