Pink Floyd wybrali się do Hérouville na północ od Paryża, aby nagrywać w Strawberry Studios. W dwa tygodnie powstały tam "Obscured By Clouds" plus soundtrack do filmu Barbeta Schroedera "La Vallée".

Ten okres to również wydanie "Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii", nagranego bez udziału publiczności filmu w reżyserii Adriana Mabena. Są tu zamieszczone po raz pierwszy w miksie stereo, w tym dwie połączone części "Echoes".

Prezenty wideo to występ w Pompejach z nowymi miksem audio w systemie 5.1, materiał z telewizji francuskiej, występ z Brighton Dome z czerwca 1972 roku oraz kolejne występy z baletem Rolanda Petita. Dodatkowym prezentem dla fanów są repliki plakatów i ulotek koncertowych z tego okresu oraz biletów.
