The Bedroom Tapes oferuje rzadkie, niepublikowane i licencjonowane utwory od Belgii i Australii po Japonię.

Dwunastu artystów z tej kompilacji nagrało głównie muzykę na 4-ścieżkowej taśmie w swoich studiach. Dźwięki z tej płyty sięgają od niemieckiej nowej fali do eksperymentalnej elektroniki, od wczesnej industrialnej muzyki ze szwedzkiej wsi, do ponurego melodyjnego minimalnego syntezatora.

Limitowana edycja 999 numerowanych kopii, wytłoczona na 180 gramowym winylu.

Track A2 (Australia): Recorded & produced […] in 1981. Released as a 7" on Astor (1981).

Track A3 (Germany): Recorded in Zeppo's Studio in 1981. Self-released as a 7" (1981).

Track A4 (Germany): Recorded at home in Herne in 1982. Released as a 7" on H'art Musik (1982).

Track A5 (United Kingdom): Recorded at Dave Farmer's house in 1985. Released on V/A Let The Pigeons In LP (1986).

Track A6 (Japan): Recorded at home in Tokyo in 1980. Released as a 7" on Vanity (1980).

Track B1 (Sweden): Recorded at home in the country in 1991 on a Fostex X-26 4-track recorder using a Roland MC-202, Kawai R-100, microphone, and sound effects.

Track B2 (Belgium): Recorded at home in Fontaîne l'Évêque in 1982. Vocals recorded in Seneffel in 1984.

Track B3 (Australia): Recorded at M Squared Studio in Sydney in 1982. Released as a 7" on M Squared (1982).

Track B4 (Belgium): Recorded at home in Aalter in 1985 on a Yamaha MT-44 4-track recorder using a Roland JX-3P, PG200 module, Roland TR-808.

Track B5 (Australia): Recorded at Lisa's house & mixed at M Squared Studio in Sydney in 1981. Self-released on the The Sound of Indifference cassette (1981).

Track B6 (Belgium): Recorded at home in Gent (Studio Attne C) in 1983. Released on the Domestica cassette (1983).
