Album z 2000 roku wyprodukowany przez Lynforda „Fatta” Marshalla i Collina „Bulby” Yorka, czyli zespół Fat Eyes, wraz z dodatkowym utworem „Nah Szay Inna Babylon”, którego nie ma na oryginalnym wydaniu LP.

„Do czasu wydania tego albumu grupa Culture już nie istniała, a nazwa była tylko identyfikatorem oryginalnego frontmana grupy, Josepha Hill'a (chociaż był wspierany przez jednego z pozostałych oryginalnych członków Culture podczas swojej letniej trasy w 2000 roku). HUMBLE AFRICAN to tak naprawdę album Josepha Hilla i jest piękny. Hill pisze świetne teksty a jego unikalny, melodyjny głos to szczery śpiew Rastamana, czasem porównywany do Burning Spear.

The 2000 album produced by Lynford 'Fatta' Marshall & Collin 'Bulby' York aka the Fat Eyes team with the CD extra track "Nah Szay Inna Babylon" which isn't on the original LP-vinyl. Excellent features include Marcia Griffiths, Morgan Heritage and Tony Rebel. Recommeded! – With a strong line-up of musicians including full hornsection, recording engineers Errol Brown and Shane Brown, and mix engineer Stephen Stanley, this is must for any serious Joseph Hill & Culture collection.

"By the time of this album's release, the group Culture was no more, the name being just an identifying tag for the group's original frontman, Joseph Hill (although he was backed by one of Culture's other original members on his summer 2000 tour). So HUMBLE AFRICAN is really a Joseph Hill album, and it's beautiful. Hill continues to write fine lyrics with even finer hooks. His unique, reedy voice is a heartfelt Rastaman chant, sometimes compared to Burning Spear.

Starting with "Why Am I a Rastaman?" the album's first four tracks are so purely melodic they wash over your senses like a waterfall. The production, by the team of Collin "Bulby" York and Lynford "Fatta" Marshall (of the Fat Eyes label) is superb. On "Where Is the Love," Marcia Griffiths' familiar warble joins Hill, while on "Home Grown," Morgan Heritage harmonizes, and on "Poor People Hungry" there's a Tony Rebel toast. With HUMBLE AFRICAN Joseph Hill maintains his fine track record."
